"Catch of the Month" December Recipe - Grilled Triggerfish w/ Berries


  • 4 (8 oz.) triggerfish fillets
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 tbsp cilantro
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice


Step 1: Pat fillets dry and let stand at room temp. for 10 minutes.  Meanwhile preheat grill to medium high heat.

Step 2: Brush both sides of fillets with oil and season to taste with salt and pepper. Place fish on grill and cook for 4 minutes each side until done. While cooking, combine the berries, cilantro, and lime juice.

Step 3: Once the fish is cooked through, plate with berry mixture and enjoy!
